The issue of choosing effective leadership has become particularly acute in recent years in Russia. The stagnant phenomena in social production that emerged at the turn of the 70-80s were directly related to serious shortcomings in management and, above all, in working with personnel. The planning and administrative system has led to the fact that in many cases the system itself has rejected qualified managers, encouraging a different type of managers - strictly following the directive "from above".

Now, with the transition to rails of market economy created new, exceptionally favorable opportunities for becoming a highly effective leadership style that until recently was hampered, in particular, the weakness of democratic governance, the domination of commercial and bureaucratic practices, a lack of personal responsibility and other faults.

The answers received by Western researchers of the theory of effective management are not always acceptable in the Russian market economy, with its unusual features of development and the Russian mentality. Therefore, the issues of effective governance in general, and its individual elements in particular, power, influence, and leadership in Russian science and practice have recently received more and more attention. In this regard, another study on the topic "Power, influence, leader" is very relevant and timely.

The purpose of this study is to establish a link between the style of leadership and the effectiveness of the organization, both in theory and in management practice on the example of the director of a beauty salon.

The implementation of this goal required solving the following tasks in the theoretical part of the work: studying the elements of leadership - power and influence; considering the sources and forms of power; studying the concept of leadership, as well as highlighting the results of numerous studies of management styles and their qualifications. In the practical part of the study, the task is set to determine the results of applying the leadership style and its impact on the effectiveness of management in a real-life enterprise-beauty salon "Beauty of Russia".

The object of research of this work is the process of interaction of the manager with subordinates, on the way to achieving the goals of the organization.

The subject of the study is the theory and practice of leadership style, as well as the study and evaluation of social, economic, socio-economic performance criteria, the activities of the director of a beauty salon.

In this paper, we consider the diversity of leadership style qualifications that are found in the modern scientific literature on management, and this diversity indicates the complexity of the social phenomenon reflected in them. Therefore, the author in no way claims to be comprehensive and complete coverage of the problems of the designated topic, as well as their solution in the proposed version.
