Political parties are the highest form of political organization of public associations or social strata. The main content of their activities is, as a rule, the struggle for power. The aggravation of contradictions in society, on the one hand, accelerates the political consolidation of social forces, and on the other hand, contributes to their separation in political directions, organizations.
